Building Lots Offered in Three New Additions
[print

The above drawing, prepared for The Pilot-Tribune by Ray Gillett, shows the
West school neighborhood, scene of what promises to become one of the
outstanding house building projects in recent Blair history. Forty building
lots are offered in the three sub-divisions show above. Karl Christensen
and Simon Korshoj are owners of the new Lincoln Park addition, created form
the block-square tract of land occupied by the former Howes (Haller)
residence. The spacious Haller house is being wrecked. Already, two
modern houses are nearing completion on lots 4 and f of this block, and
others will be built. A block of paving will be laid between center and
West streets along what was formerly the Haller driveway.
Alfred Paulsen, owner of the former Maurice Mehrens
property, plans to raze the Mehrens home and divide that land into seven
building lots, as shown in the above drawing. He will erect low-cost homes.
Mrs. A.P. Simonsen has had her land divided into 20
lots, and will offer 19 of them for sale. Already she has sold one.
She plans to continue to reside in her own home, located in lot one. |
