Morison's Bridges
Construction Images
George S. Morison built a number of early bridges on the Missouri River and with each one his engineering techniques became more developed.  Morison was most noted for perfecting methods for handling the pneumatic foundation.  Few photos from the construction of Morison's bridges exist. Below is a selection of photos from a several Morison Bridges that help illustrate how the Blair Bridge was constructed.
