  Early Hotels

Clifton Hotel
(a.ka. Landmark Inn)
SE Corner of 15th & Front Streets
Appears on the 1897, 1902, 1909, & 1928 Sanborn Maps


Commercial Hotel
SW Corner of 16th (Walker) & Washington Streets
Later the location of the Blue Goose Store and today the Eagles Club.  At that time is was a three story building.


Merchants Hotel
a.k.a. City Hotel in the 1880's
SE Corner of  16th (Walker) & Front Streets
Located in the parking lot area of the Enterprise Publishing building.


Blair House and Depot
Built:  (before 1876) 
West of Old Walker Ave. (16th Street) and North of the Railroad Tracks.)


Monana Hotel
On Front Street, just east of the old Merchants Hotel (a.k.a. Enterprise Publishing) Lots 9 & 10 of Block 36
Appears on the 1897 Sanborn Map, sheet 1

First called Blair House
Then called Monana Hotel
Later called the Dixon Hotel


Park Hotel
Lot 16 of State Street  (Just north of the railroad passenger train depot)
