Blair Historic Preservation Alliance

 

Activities Calendar

Let us propose that the Alliance develops and implements eleven community events/activates for the upcoming year. The benefits to be:

1)    Provides opportunities to bring issues to the public and demonstration our general service to the community.

2)    Cause the formalized development of materials than can be used to fulfill our objectives.

3)    Activate members of the Alliance towards an accomplishable and measurable monthly goal.

4)    Cause monthly publicity to promote our issue platforms.

Purposed Schedule

  • October 2001 -- Launch Web Sites
  • November 2001 -- Develop Brick Street Preservation Platform – that can be used as foundation for Historic Street Committee report and hold public forums.
  • December 2001 -- (no event)
  • January 2002 -- Launch Historic Properties Program
  • February 2002 -- "Love our Landmarks"  week long Historic Property Signage
  • March 2002 --  "Memoir Lane:  An Oral History Party"
  • April 2002 -- City Wide Historic Walking Tours
  • May 2002 -- Community Action Campaign
  • June 2002 -- Gateway to the West,  Alliance Awareness
  • July 2002 -- 
  • August 2002 -- Preservation Week, Present Preservation Awards
  • September 2002 -- Heritage Pie Social
