Programs
Blair: Reminisce!
NEED PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Oral History Program with
Guests
from Tom:
A. Destruction by Nature - floods, fire, decay, etc.
B. Destruction by Ignorance - "I didn't know what it was, didn't
think it was important (per the article)?
C. Destruction by Choice - "We simply can't afford to keep it. We
choose destruction to preservation as a matter of financial (or other)
choice.
D. Destruction by Vandals - "I don't like this and I don't want any
one else to have it." "That'll show 'em."
Would be nice to offer a free
in-house session to the city records people regarding this topic. It would
be interesting to solicit and catalogue or at least provide a list of
items lost by other municipalities as the basis for education on type B
loss. As in "Don't let this happen to you."
