W-CHAT WEST: Lincoln Highway
Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 7:15 p.m. will be the date and time of the next W-CHAT co-sponsored by Washington County Historical Association and the Blair Historic Preservation Alliance.  The program will be a panel discussion about the history of THE LINCOLN HIGHWAY and the B-LINE CUT-OFF through Blair and Kennard.  The panel will feature noted Lincoln Highway historian Bob Stubblefield from Shelton, Nebraska, and local historians Edwin T. Jipp and Nathan Kramer.  Local Lincoln Highway Association member Roger Olson will moderate the discussion.  Stubblefield is the chairperson of the Nebraska Chapter of the Lincoln Highway Association.

The event will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, (418 W 2nd St.) in Kennard, Nebraska-Just off the Lincoln Highway. Refreshments will be available for a donation by the ladies of the church.
