All members of the Blair Historic Preservation Alliance are invited to take a casual tour of the Pilot Building (O’Hanlon Building) next week, Wednesday, March 21, at 7:00 pm.

This will be a great opportunity to discover, or reacquaint yourself with, the charm of one of Blair’s finest downtown business structures. The informal tour will be hosted by Mr. David Olson of Equitable Mortgage Inc.

This building is truly one of the great anchor buildings of the historic downtown district.  I encourage you to take a look at the building in the popular panoramic view of downtown Blair c1908.  http://www.blairhistory.com/landmarks/main_street/panoramic/DWT0001.htm

In this picture you can see the Pilot Building sitting along an unpaved (dirt) road together with the people, horse and carriages of the day.  The picture and building are a real treat.
