Blair: Reminisce, first of a series of a programs organized by the
Historical Properties Registry of the Blair Historical Preservation
Alliance.
Moderator introduces self
Mission of the Registry
seeks to increase public awareness of and interest in these historic
sites and structures in Blair.
Specifically the registry is design to help identify, research, document
and recognize historic sites.
Tonight’s Program
features the Odd Fellow’s building at the corner of 17th & Washington
Streets. While the present building dates back to 1892, the focus of the
program will center around the years between 1945 and 1956 when John W.
Young, Sr. and his wife, Florence operated a popular café in the lower
part of the building. Historic Overview printed on handout.

subject. Then follow with open questions and comments from our audience.
