News releases: Ann George wrote the news release and made arrangement with
the Blair Enterprise to have the news release published. A 3" double-column article
with photo and cut line appeared in the Friday, March 14th edition of the Blair
Enterprise, page
7-- "To Do" section.
Emails: Preliminary emails were sent to the core membership as soon as the date
was finalized. An email that included information from
the news release was sent to all email addresses on our "Mailing
List," on ____________
Printing:
Not mailing or posters were used to publicity the event
Venue
Nathan reserved the library meeting room for a program
and meeting. We setup 38 chairs and one 8' banquet tables on the south
side for the panel. Members of the Alliance and some of of the
guests placed the room back into order.
Refreshments
There were no refreshments planed or service.
Information and Handouts
A handout with a building timeline, photo and general announcements was
available to attendees. A number of membership sign-up sheets were hand
out to attendees after the program which resulted in several new
memberships.
