  • Dedication Ceremony of the 
    Lincoln Highway Marker Commemorating the 1930 Route of the Lincoln Highway.

  • Dignitaries:  Mayor Jim Realph (read Proclamation)
    Possible:  Senator Mick Mines, Bob Coffey-Communities Foundation, Lincoln Highway Association delegate, Missouri Valley delegate, Fremont delegate (Allan Hale - 427-2641  Fremont Chamber)
     

  • Unveiling by Mr. Edwin T. Jipp, past president of the Blair Historic Preservation Alliance and Lincoln Highway Marker project coordinator
    Assisted by Boy Scout Troop 232, Scout Master Steven Jones
     

  • Antique Car Run to end the Ceremony.
    The cars will gather at Optimist park, north of the railroad bridge.  They will travel west along the original B-line Highway on Jackson Street, turning the corner at 10th and Jackson the site of the new marker; drive south to Nebraska street and turn west; drive to 16th street and turn south; drive to Washington street and turn west; drive to 19th street and turn south.
