(updated 6/2008) First-Class Envelop First ounce $0.42, Two ounce mailing $0.59 The maximum weight is 13 ounces The minimum size for First-Class Mail is 5 inches long, 3-1/2 inches high Postcard (commercially sold) $0.27 The minimum: 3-1/2 inches high by 5 inches long The maximum: 4-1/4 inches high by 6 inches long Special note: A standard paper size is 8-1/2 inches x 11 inches. When divided into 4 postcards, the size of the card is 4-1/4 inches x 5-1/2 inches. That is within the size limits of the Post Office. |
